Drake Leads BET Awards 2016 With Nine Interesting Nominations

Drake has been nominated for an impressive nine awards at this year’s BET Awards, withBeyoncé and Rihanna following behind with five nods each.

Last month, he got everyone talking at work, school, home, social media, TV and radio stations following the release of his fourth studio album ‘Views’ – which features Nigerian pop star Wizkid, Rihanna, Future and Kyla.

The rapper and singer is nominated for prizes including Best Male Hip Hop Artist, Video of Year and Best Collaboration for his hit ‘Where Ya At’.

Meanwhile, his ‘Work’ mate Riri, is up for Best Female R&B/Pop Artist, Best Collaboration and Video of the Year and Coca-Cola Viewers’ Choice Award for ‘Work’ featuring Drake and the Centric Award for ‘BBHMM’.

On the other hand, Queen Bey will compete with Adele and Rihanna to be named Best Female R&B/Pop Artist.

She’s also up for Best Collaboration for her song with Nicki Minaj ‘Feeling Myself’, Video of The Year for ‘Lemonade’, Coca-Cola Viewers’ Choice Award and Centric Award for ‘Formation’.
